Hi friends, hope everyone is enjoying this brief respite from the extreme heat and humidity. The historic Leadville Trail 100 race is taking place this Saturday in Colorado. It’s part of the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning along with the Old Dominion 100 Mile Endurance Run in Virginia, the Western States 100 in California, the Vermont 100 Mile Endurance Run in Vermont, and the Wasatch Front 100 Mile Endurance Run in Utah.
Sadly, there is no live broadcast (maybe live tracking), but you can enjoy the experience of this grueling out and back trek with Patrick Durante who ran the race last year and was kind enough to film his experience. Watch it here. Bonus points to Patrick for repping a Philly Marathon shirt.
